For over two decades, Vesna has developed transdisciplinary courses bridging art and science, engaging students across disciplines — from the arts to STEM fields. Art|Sci Center programs and exhibitions are consistently created with students in mind, often involving them directly in research, production, and public presentation.
Working closely with students from scientific backgrounds inspired her STEAM manifesto — reframing the acronym as Science, Technology, Ecology, Art, and Mindfulness.
She was awarded the 2026 Distinguished Teaching of Art Award from the College Art Association of America (CAA).

ART SCI NOW
Vesna’s new educational platform, Art|Sci Now is dedicated to creating a third culture by generating collaborative art science projects that actively involve the public. The goal is to imagine and develop new forms of exchanges and business models that consider our environment at the center of interest.
