Unfolding the Pyramids’ Secrets Using Modern Physics

A documentary project exploring scientific expeditions (1965–1987) investigating hidden chambers in the Great Pyramids using cosmic ray detection, radar, sonar, and microgravity analysis.

Unfolding the Pyramids’ Secrets Using Modern Physics shows five expeditions between 1965 and 1987 in search of hidden chambers in the three Great Pyramids at Giza. Cosmic ray detection failed to locate any chambers in the second pyramid, the Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren). Radar and sonar tests likewise produced no evidence of chambers.

Findings from incomplete microgravity tests were used to postulate a cavity filled with sand from the Upper Nile under the Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), the largest pyramid. These predictions were employed in the transformation of signals into video images to determine the density of the pyramid in specific areas.

Although no new chambers have been found, interviews with scientists and archaeologists from Egypt raise questions about the possibility of future discoveries, the need for nondestructive methods of investigation, and the reasoning and values of ancient Egyptian civilization.
