Secret Agents

Site specific net-based performance.

“Secret Agents” is concerned with the creation of a cyborgic virtual being, an “agent” who represents and reflects the consciousness and concensus of the UCDARNet collaborative team. The project is a remotely inhabited and site specific net-based performance that uses a distributed personae to investigate and play out notions of agents and agency, presence and absence, identity and indentification. Using both telepresent and robotic applications, a semi-autonomous biomorphic human inerface will act on behalf of the group reflecting the collective ideas and intelligence of UCDARNet.
