Got some beautiful pedestals from the basement of the Naturalization History Museum! Exhibition installer Walter Hamp cleaned them up, Monica and Daniela showed up to help / so grateful! Always a lot more work than one imagines but [Alien] Star Dust is more relevant than ever! Dust knows no borders- signal to noise!
Tibetan LOSAR with nanomandala in Topanga (public / Pure Lands farm) and Belgrade (private ganapuja with Jelena and Slavka)
Like a kid in a candy store – after hours at the Natural History Museum in Vienna – with Ludovic Ferrier, meteorite curator who left for a research trip to Congo the next morning. Scored some dust rust from the Campo de Cielo meteorite!
If you are in LA – NanoMandala is installed at the Pure Lands farm in Topanga for celebration of the Tibetan new year! I am in Vienna setting up my new project [Alien] Star Dust – so in spirit there – My partner and collaborator Jim Gimzewski on this project will be there in person along with friends and family. Hope you can join in spirit or in person!
Mindshare LA today! If in the city come and hear UCLA nanoscientists and try on Noise Aquarium VR!
